Calvin Greer is self-taught in the craft of woodturning, but his artistic ability comes from his training in the art of stained glass and photography. Prior to Mr. Greer's exclusive concentration in wood art forms , he was a custom furniture- maker for ten years.

Calvin's unique approach to woodturning is spontaneous emergence coupled with his innate ability....this allows his artistic creations to be free flowing forms embellished with carvings and inlays, instead of pre-planned designs. Thus, all his work is "one of a kind".
